They’re blaming mechanics, but there’s a chance there’s something physical wrong. His regression last season was palpable. It reminds me a bit of how there was nothing physically wrong with Severino in the second half last season...I didn’t feel confident he was healthy then, and I don’t feel confident Green is now.
Just because they can still hit numbers on the gun doesn’t mean that they aren’t using more effort to get there...The loss of movement on pitches can be a sign of something not being right physically... or mechanically. One can lead to the other...
