I was kind of okay with it. I don’t like that stuff all the time, but once in a while you just make the defense make a play. The Mariners don’t have a lot of good “D”...Maybe I’m just a Maybin apologist... With two outs? No way. Like I said...once in while, if you have speed you have to use it to do the unexpected. If you owned the team, you’d fire me if I were the manager...I’d be okay with that...Run Cameron, run!!! |

Driving back from dinner listening to the radio broadcast and Suzyn just said that finesse pitchers have more trouble pitching in the rain than guys who throw hard because they can’t grip the ball. There is zero evidence to support that statement. You need to grip the ball to throw a fastball as well. These two are the masters at stating ignorance with complete confidence.
