Torres should have two errors in this game.

Did they give Kiermaier a hit? Yes. Hit, with an error added for Torres because the run scored. Some of these scorers act as though they’ve never seen baseball played before...

Green looks like a man wondering if his AAA adventures may restart any day from now. His location stunk the stadium out that inning... Boone uses two of the team's best relievers to get through the 7th and then uses one of the worst relievers to pitch the entire 8th. That's a special kind of stupid. The other thing is that Kahnle and Green have similar velocity and arm angles. As a hitter, it’s easier to see those two back to back.

Moves like this make me nervous about the post season, where Boone is a major liability when compared to the managers of the other great teams in the AL.

I always thought the Yankee Stadium scorers were not fair with Jeter at the plate or in the field. He seemed to get shafted at home but not on the road.

Remember when the Astros could throw Nolan Ryan, Joe Niekro, and then JR Richard in the same series? I was a shame Richard's career was cut short, he was a great pitcher. Sad indeed. He attempted a comeback, but his reaction time and change to his depth perception made him an extreme injury risk. He was swindled in an oil deal afterward. That, and two costly divorces led to him eventually living under a highway overpass for a period of time before righting the ship, finding work and eventually becoming a minister. Now 69 years old, still ministering... I admired him as a player...

Man, the rain delay really got to you guys. They always do. If only MLB would adopt my patented gravel infield. We could keep playing...

This Castillo is a horse. Thick and wide like a middle line-backer...

They always do. If only MLB would adopt my patented gravel infield. We could keep playing... That would lead to many ass injuries. Remember yours...you haven’t been the same since. Physically, perhaps. But I believed that initial thump on that concrete basement step, and the additional thumps down the other steps provided me with a moment of enlightenment as I wondered if my gluteal cleft would expand and swallow the world as I then knew it into a newly formed vortex. As it turned out, it did. The entire world was swallowed by my ass that day, and I had to turn myself inside out to release the rest of you. It was the single biggest sacrifice and act of kindness I could have performed before my digestive juices turned you all into... Let’s not even think about it...
