Thanks, sirens just went off and we're in our basement. Where are you located? Tinley Park, IL - about 15 miles southwest of Chicago. The tornadoes usually don't come this north but every now and then... |

I dozed on and off during the final couple innings and missed the homer by Sanchez. Then, when the game was over I switched to the weather channel.
As soon as I saw where the tornadoes were I thought, “At least they’ll miss chiyankee and his brood”. Then I caught up with the board and... woo! Close one. We have warnings east of Denver that are shutting down the airport, but that’s two plus hours from here...

When he’s staying back and able to do that even in a game when he’s struck out three times that’s a really good sign. |
