Wow I am shocked! Surely he could have got a better deal somewhere else! He is the rare player who valued team over money! I guess the cynics will say he must be hurt or something. But I respect the man for this decision! I can use my million Tanaka pics now! Tanaka staying in the Bronx!!!  Now can I say to everyone, "I told you so!"? |

In three postseason starts this season, Tanaka surrendered a total of two runs, struck out 18, walked three, and held opponents to a .145 batting average. Compare that with all other postseason starters this season, and see where he ranks.
