In Britton’s last 20 games prior to this one, he’s allowed a 1.37 ERA, a .172 BA, and a .470 OPS against. More of same tonight. I think he walked Nunez so we could practice our double plays. Ho hum...

They showed graphics on the screen yesterday that showed that statistically, the Red Sox have out hit and out pitched the Yankees in the prior 37 games, as if:
A: The first dozen and a half or so don’t count
B: Fielding is not a factor
C: It matters when you didn’t win as many
D: Smoke and mirrors wins you anything...
