I don’t get it either. Seems highly unlikely the locals consider this anything more than a strange diversion. Me three. Europeans don't care about baseball! Maybe the Dutch a little bit. I'm also not fan. Way too far to travel for just two games and it just seems like a big gimmick.  |

The Japanese series earlier this year was bad, but at least the Japanese have their own passion for the sport. The two teams starting the season early seemed awkward. I don’t know what was accomplished, nor if there was an agenda. Maybe to make Japanese children grow up wanting to play ball in America, which may or may not be a good thing.. |
