I don’t get it either. Seems highly unlikely the locals consider this anything more than a strange diversion. Me three. Europeans don't care about baseball! Maybe the Dutch a little bit. I'm also not fan. Way too far to travel for just two games and it just seems like a big gimmick.

The Japanese series earlier this year was bad, but at least the Japanese have their own passion for the sport. The two teams starting the season early seemed awkward. I don’t know what was accomplished, nor if there was an agenda. Maybe to make Japanese children grow up wanting to play ball in America, which may or may not be a good thing..
