Kaybli, I know. Gardner. He's had a very nice season, but Gardnerism is soon going to end whether I like it or not. The "Lord" himself is 34 years old now, older than when Jesus was crucified. His time will soon end. I hope he gets to end his career on his terms as a legacy Yankee. That would be the only fitting end, and the only way that Gardnerism can live on forever. If he ever plays for any other team, his soul will have been exposed to the devil...That's right, Tony Womack will have Gardner's soul. We can't allow that, Cashman... [rofl] Here's a throwback pic: Wonder where rp is these days? I sent him a PM with an invite to the new board.

I'm sure that Gary would be able to converse in English... just doesn't want to do it to the media... so nothing gets lost in translation. I think a lot of foreign born players are like that. And I don't blame them, especially in NY. Didi is a freakin awesome dude and athlete... just not my favorite because he was acquired in a trade. Although, growing up my favorite player was Paul O'Neill. I think Bird is gonna tear it up this post season , just like he did in Spring Training. I CAN'T WAIT!!! This team is so fun to watch... (except when they're not..) but I'm so glad we're getting another "core" to watch and look forward to.

I voted for "other" simply because I have such a hard time choosing. I love all of the elements that come together to make up a good team. I've seen teams with a lot of good players that didn't play well together, and the pieces didn't seem to fit. Here, we have a team where I can appreciate the veterans that have been around for a while and show the young players how to play the game right, I can appreciate the young players what we've picked up or promoted in the past few seasons...I can appreciate the thunderous bats, the solid arms of the pitching staff, the magnificence of great fielding plays. I've suffered with a few relief pitchers that went through near inexplicable slumps this year, and rejoiced when they've turned their seasons around. I've seen one of the greatest rookie performances ever (if not the greatest), I've watched young players blossom into stars right before my eyes. There is just so much to enjoy... I suppose I must admit that when Judge is at the plate, I'm not leaving the room. That's worth something, I suppose... Waffler.

I need all the flavors on the menu just so I can order vanilla...
