With all of the unknowns, this should have been scheduled as exhibition games, if they felt they had to do it. If you’re going to advertise, make it an advertisement... I just hope the Yanks can at least split the two games and keep their same lead over Boston. |

I was wondering why the Red Sox would agree to give up two home games for this series, then I read that they are getting most of the ticket revenue from this. |

This is a bit of an example of marketing going wrong at this point. The length of the game is not a good first impression. Then the teams both wind up having to use the scrubeenies of the bullpens to cover innings...
I thought it was a bit odd for Boston to pull their first reliever after 2/3 of an inning...
