Okay, I’ll play the Tanaka apologist: 1. Leads the Yankees in games started with 18, which is tied for tenth in the American League. 2. One of only ten AL pitchers to throw a complete game. 3. One of only eight AL pitchers to throw a shut out. 4. Leads the Yankees in Innings Pitched (15th in the AL) 5. Leads the Yankees in WHIP (15th in the AL) 6. Second among Yankee starters in ERA (16th in AL) 7. Leads all Yankee pitchers in WAR (22nd in AL) 8. Leads Yankees in strikeouts (20th in AL) 9. Right now he’s healthy. 10. Looks great in Pinstripes. That’s all I’ve got. that suggest he is a good Yankee pitcher. Not an all star

Are the Rays announcers bitching about that joke of a called third strike on Judge? I’m enjoying YES announcers today!

Valera hit between .309 and .325 in each of his first 5 MiLB seasons and between .304 and .325 in 7 of his first 8 MiLB seasons. With that kind of bat and not being fully graduated to MLB, I’m thinking the glove is likely lacking a bit...

Gary Sanchez is 1 for his last 25....lots of holes in his swing right now. His OBP is nosediving.

really good last pitch against judge
Is it true that Tampa has a 52 million salary and Morton has 15 million of that?

Also, if not for the debacle/fluke in London, his numbers would appear much more representative...to you especially.

Morton hits 100 pitches and is gone in the sixth after tossing a nice ball game.
