You would have a hard time believing the Twins were just 7-8 in July coming into this series. Sabathia and German have made them look like the '27 Yankees. I thought the Twins were struggling as well. Maybe playing us when we had the best record excited them. Cleveland closed the division lead to 3 games. |

Twins announcers are so carried away that they’re comparing people to Rod Carew. Torre once did that in discussing Cano and it seemed like bullshit to me then. Seems like bullshit to me tonight also. Pretty silly to compare players to Rod Carew except at the end of a very successful career. |
