Another bad first inning for a Yankees starter Yanks have allowed 60 runs (I think 62 now) in the first inning this year. That's the second worst inning for the team (8th is worst). Compared to the league, the 3rd inning is on average the worst for pitching in runs scored. The Yanks OPS against in the first inning is 73 points worse than the league average. So this is a problem. Definitely a problem. Even though we come back very often, we can't continue the extreme first inning struggles.

That's the 3rd or 4th HR the Yanks have lost due to that high fence, but we'll take the RBI double. Stupid high ass fence!

This place is on my list for my son & I to go to see a game. We almost went to this series but did a family trip to the Wisconsin Dells last week instead.

I know the Yankees broadcast was ragging on the stadium, but I have been there several times and it is a great place to see a game. This place is on my list for my son & I to go to see a game. We almost went to this series but did a family trip to the Wisconsin Dells last week instead. Sounds like fun, Chi! Waterparks galore!

He's a cohost of a Yankee talk show in NY, and he's always on Twitter commenting on games. He's also an expert lip reader and does breakdowns all the time on what angry players are saying during a heated exchange, usually with the umpires.
