I am for now dropping starting the Game Threads and Tequila will take my place hoping to change OUR luck...
I will translate for Tequila:
"Pax starts; not a GREAT season for Pax
Must do better today...
More seed and blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon PLEASE."

The three games against MN and the last game against the rockies also might lead one to question the pitching staff. A lot of the starters were struggling before then. Maybe its tired arms, maybe injuries, maybe its just playing really strong offensive teams. The kind you face in play offs.

That should keep Frazier in AAA...

That should keep Frazier in AAA... The Yanks will have a tough decision to make once Gardner is ready to come back, especially if Tauchman keeps playing well.

Those things seem to have a way of taking care of themselves. Somebody is constantly getting injured. Tauchman is the only Yankee OFer who has not yet been on the IL. Not saying it's going to happen. But it's going to happen.

Cashman’s way would suggest they would demote the kid with options. But the way Tauchman has been playing in all phases of the game I don’t see how they can do that. He’s arguably their best defensive OF and for the last couple of months he’s been a great all around hitter. Maybe he’s playing over his head but I think you ride the hot streak for as long as you possibly can.

Nobody before had seen an outfielder spontaneously combust on the field.

Wouldn't you love to be on the mound tonight? Wearing the Pinstripes, on the road, against the most hated rival in - arguably - the history of sport, and coming off possibly the most embarrassing loss in the history of the two franchises. You have a chance to set things right, to erase the abject misery of the night before, to knock your rival back to where they started the series, and most importantly to shut up a raucous, drunken, obnoxious, Friday-night Beantown crowd! Give me the @#%#%@ ball! [img class="smile" alt=" " src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/VAdMhWQXEJeVXzNqIUrJ.gif" style="max-width:100%;"]
