Clarke has done quite a good job through three innings...He’s thrown a lot of breaking balls vs. his normal repertoire... Barely more strikes than balls. He seems to have concocted a special game plan for this start. He seldom sees a line up for the third time...He’s nearly halfway through round two...

The D'Backs battery has two guys with reverse first name/last names -- Taylor Clark and Carson Kelly. Usually, those would be great golfers. Jack Nicklaus, Raymond Floyd, Byron Nelson, Tom Morris, Payne Stewart, Arnold Palmer, Billy Casper, Bob Charles, Ben Hogan, Gil Morgan, Greg Norman, Craig Parry, Calvin Peete... Don't want to irritate the anti-golfers here, but you could add Keegan Bradley and Justin Leonard and Adam Scott to that list. |
