I double checked nope even Losaiga who only made 3 starts doesn't even have that. Thanks for checking, Anthony. Of course, this is an issue for most teams. The shrinking of the role of the starting pitcher. This is what makes Houston so scary though. They have 3 starters with over 6 IP a start. Then Miley isnt that far off either.

But we all know Holder is a short inning reliever. Holder did his job, going two scoreless, but he gets two runs tacked to his ERA because Boone pushed him too far. I agree Chi. But the Yankee bullpen is so over-used that I think Boone's options are more limited than what would be optimal and he tries to squeeze extra outs from these guys. I have to look it up, but I don't think any Yankee starter is averaging more than six innings. Tanaka was a shade over it, but he has dropped off recently. Cashman knew all of this before the trade deadline and he knew Sabathia was hurt. I get it the cost of a quality starter was enormous and Cash being unwilling to pay the price, but the Yanks could have picked up a short term 5th starter to help them in August and avoid using all these relievers.

the baltimore feed stopped again (I am watching the baltimore feed MASN). That’s what you get for signing up for fubo. You can’t expect the same for $4.99 per month... I get all the channels. I generally avoid YES

Instead of working Tarpley and then sending him down, we’ll be putting him on the DL after the game...

Judge is out of sorts in the outfield, too. Maybe a day off is in order. He hasn't looked right for most of the past few weeks.

What's not clear is if we don't have anyone capable of doing it or if the team was designed all along to make consistent use of an unusually deep bullpen. There definitely have been starts where it seemed like the hook was a little early, reflexively. Hard to know what would happen if we had just an average bullpen (apart from losing more games)

Dallas Keuchel threw seven innings a couple days ago. Hell, that’s like a complete game these days. And, he’s done that four times thus far.
