The Yankees are throwing the Birds a bone by starting Ford & Valera both games but it might not matter. Reverse Jinx, part one. Valera is destined to HR later now. Are they playing up or down to the competition? |

Unless he is hurt they should have left Green pitch the whole 2nd. But I guess 4 straight outs was a bad sign The Yankees don't want Green throwing too many pitches, they have bigger plans for him. |

And credit to everyone in the organization for being so results oriented and not hung up on whether or not the idea seems familiar or traditional. If it works, it works. |
