Run! Run to your precious gravel!

You will never find my burrow in the gravel! It’s next to the lilac shrub in my back yard where I easily slip in and out, with an emergency exit next to my mailbox. Oops... No, it’s somewhere else, don’t bother looking there...

Phoebe Cates when the red bikini top came off... There. Is that enough?... Hope so, because I have to get off my mind to sleep tonight now... Having had the night to sleep on this, I was reminded of two things (that didn’t come out right): First, was those old beach movies of the 60’s where the girls all wore the bikini bottoms that looked like giant panties that came up high enough to cover their navel. Second, I recalled an old joke with the punch line “Hey lady, if you’re giving those puppies away, I’ll take the one with the pink nose”...

I knew the Yanks struggled in this dump, but I didn't know it was this bad.

Yea that is worrisome. Maybe we should skip him a few times or give him extra days of rest.

I haven’t heard anything about how they intend to rest him, or control his innings. I’m thinking the return of Loasiga could help. Maybe sort of piggy back them with Loasiga eventually carrying the heavier part of the innings load? Maybe have German skip a start or two along the way?
If we also see returns of Montgomery and or Severino, the team is going to have to find inventive ways to reintroduce the pieces...and could have to make some really tough decisions in the post season.
Interesting stuff, and Brooks Baseball is one of several outstanding sources on the web to gather more information than can even be used...

I don't think Loasiga has had much of an innings build up, so he's probably only good for 2 to 3 innings an appearance. The Yanks could really use another starters, even a backend guy, to eat up some innings.

Maybe it even goes to Loaisiga for 4 innings, German for 2-3 once Johnny gets built up...

Do you guys really think Montgomery is even an option for this season? I know he's still in recovery and hasn't pitched in over a year.
