I am not convinced the Yankees are getting the worse from the umpires compared to other teams. I watched a fair number of games last week and ball and strike calls were bad period. |

I don’t think do on the whole either, Russ. There are situations, like the one in Cleveland where it appeared that we were getting more than our share of bad calls. Then the Yanks carped and it came to a head with the ejections... I think every team will take a few. All anyone expects is for them to balance out... |

Our basic problem has been an inability to hit with mean in scoring position. Which we were really good at for most of the year
