Maybe he blew out his arm... He did throw 120 pitches which is unheard of in today's game. Verlander is a throwback to a different age pitcher |

I wonder if the Yankee players know (or care) about the no shut out streak. Some things are probably more important to fans and commentators than players.

Hard to figure out what occurred in the A's series. We are better than they are. Random chance I guess. That and their greater need to win. Both teams are really good, but so are the Astros, Rays and Indians. And the Red Sox, despite they're pitching problems, have a lineup that's as good as anyone's. The AL playoffs are going to be fun. |

We dug up some common taters just a couple days ago. This soil in Colorado does grow some fine common taters...
