I suppose Voit is at first instead of Ford to get him some reps in the field since his stint on the injured list. In my opinion, Ford is better defensively, though no one will mistake him for Don Mattingly. We’re also facing the lefty, Minor. While lefties don’t seem to bother Ford, I’m sure they don’t bother Voit, either... (: |

This is going to be a short outing for Tanaka. Looks like it, but once again Tanaka never seems to have clean defense behind him....LeMahieu, Voit, Frazier...that’s another inning. |
