As an aside, when Odor hit the home run in the ninth, the announcer said, "Now, that is one of the places in Yankee Stadium that really plays long. We saw Odor working on his opposite field power in spring training."

The starters have to play enough to be at the top of their games, and it’s preferable to keep the winning spirit alive... |
