Neither, I have cable that came with the apartment. I subscribed to MLB package online, so I can watch on my phone, iPad, computer, and through my television using a PS4 via the internet. If I move back to my house in Iowa, I have Directv. Ah. Gotcha. For baseball, it seems Direct TV is the best, but it is costlier. For football. DISH includes the NFL package. It’s an upsell with Direct TV... The apartment complex does not allow any satellite dishes....esthetics...or I would have transferred my DTV service here. I have an NFL game pass for NFL.

If I move back to my house in Iowa, I have Directv. I understand what you're going through. I have the Extra Innings Package through Direct TV and it comes with a free subscription to MLB TV. I can't get Cubs or White Sox games streamed through MLB TV, regardless where they are playing. I have to watch them through Direct TV with my television subscription. I was in baseball heaven before I switched, but it turns Heaven has very high rents. My monthly cable bill had zoomed to $220 per. Now, I’m paying $140, though that of course is promotional. Direct TV also ripped me off though, by making me pay my final installment for the entire season even though I only used it for about 1/2 of the season. Like I told Ruth, that’s wrong, but you either pay or they turn you into a bill collector and then your credit goes to shit, so you just pay it and live with it...

I long for the early days of satellite dishes (the ones that took up an entire side yard). A $500 descrambler and you could watch anything, anywhere. Those were great times!

If you call Direct TV customer service to terminate your subscription, they will usually work with you to get you stay with discounts off your monthly bill and other free stuff, especially if you bundle with them with your internet service and landline telephone service.
