If you call Direct TV customer service to terminate your subscription, they will usually work with you to get you stay with discounts off your monthly bill and other free stuff, especially if you bundle with them with your internet service and landline telephone service. I hate price creep so much that when they offer that I tell them to let their suit know that it would be smarter to not piss people off by taking advantage of their customers in the first place. They offered $140 + the full payment of the baseball package. Told them nope. Match or nothing. As it turned out they got me back by charging me for the baseball package anyway... I also let them know that I’ll remember that when Dish creeps up their price. They’re in cahoots with each other, they know their trading us back and forth every two years.. I get Comcast in an apartment complex that does not allow dishes. I can't buy the NFL ticket period. So I miss the games I want. |
