Sounds like good memories in Baltimore! I shall now take this time to announce that I was at the Aaron Boone 2003 ALCS Game 7! [img alt=" " src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/jDJlHGGBhpTsTqXnhrCV.gif" class="smile"]
Sorry. I had to do it. It's my claim to fame in terms of sports attendance!
I had tickets to that game and gave them to a Sox fan. D'oh! You couldn't make it? At least you gave that Sox fan a tortured memory for life!
Here, I found the ticket stub from that day:

Mike and Frank from American Pickers are on the way. Tight-ass Frank wants to offer you $5.00 for it...

The appeal may be more generational, as in the older you are, the more nostalgic you are for the things they find. It can be educational, too. You learn about equipment that was used before electricity was readily available and such. Great time waster when you can’t sleep or if it’s raining outside and your ball game is also rained out...

Alright here's the question. Would you rather get best record and risk having to face Oakland in the ALDS knowing you would have homefield against Houston (if they advance) in the ALCS? Or would you rather just play Minnesota in the ALDS with Houston having homefield in the ALCS?

You gotta win that first ALDS series first and I think Minnesota is an easier opponent than Oakland.

I couldn’t go and gave it up. Somewhere I have my tickets from Game 6 of the 1996 WS though.
