I was last brilliant in high school That’s why I added the extra near half run that he should have allowed. You’re still brilliant. You just have one hell of a hard time relating your education to baseball and considering the variables of athletic endeavors. I think you conflate them with standard deviation of the entire race. They’re not the same. You’re working with what is essentially an outlier. A super race of people with higher physical skills, but who also have higher variables because the slightest problem, sinus, soreness, lack of sleep, distraction etc. will have a bigger effect because they are co-acting with others from their segment that can and will take advantage of any weakness they can find, and some they don’t even know about... |
