It stings to go through all those good pitchers and empty out the bench and still come up empty. Oh well. A date with Minnesota in October is looking more and more likely. Yea if Astros win against Seattle they would be 103-54, Yankees 102-56. Astros have 1 more game than the yankees and the tiebreaker too so its basically 3 out in the loss with 5 to play. I think they rely on this opener stuff a little too much. I get there have been injuries, but again I still can't believe there wasn't someone at AAA or cheap FA to give them innings. Def a few games this year that I feel were lost because of it being a "bullpen game". However saying that the A's are not a pushover and might be better off avoiding them in the first round. They have a shot vs the Astros. Yes, alas, I suspect the home field advantage ship has sailed...

Save it for the World Series!!! Are you insinuating that we can’t come over tonight?... I left the light on for you all. (Actually, I went to bed right after I made this post).

Are you insinuating that we can’t come over tonight?... I left the light on for you all. (Actually, I went to bed right after I made this post). When we got there I was looking for the light. Did you know that 27% of your neighborhood leaves the light on? That just about all of them own guns? That just about all of them get really ticked off when you knock on the door and honk the horn after 2:30AM? We finally left when we heard sirens heading our way from three directions. We figured we’d better go before we lost our escape route. I was more concerned about the dudes with the torches and pitchforks to be honest with you. Deep dish pizza in the Chicago suburbs comes with a price in the early AM. No wonder people that stay up that late get in trouble...

If we come in second to Houston we play probably MN and Houston gets most likely Oakland. That is a good not bad thing.
