So, if we have to wonder what it would be like if the Twins had Pineda, then do we get to wonder what it would be like if they had Pineda and he wasn’t on PEDs? I suppose in all fairness, poor Michael didn’t realize he was taking a masking agent to lose weight. One he got from a friend. Suuuuuurrrre. That’s how he got it. And he got it to lose weight... What would it be like if we had German and he wasn’t a jackass? |

INTERVIEW: “Rocco, what have you learned about secret plans in post-season baseball”? “Well, inger. I learned that when you think you can bring in a ringer in these games, there’s just no such things. Ringers are for your weekend softball league”. “Thanks, Rocco. Now back to our game, but first... this commercial break”... I was thinking about the time the guys in the fire department told me they wanted me to bat eighth for them because they had a ringer coming in to play for us. The guy was a young state cop that was 6’8” tall and was supposed to be a real masher. No problem, only the guy struck out at least once and never made solid contact on anything the entire game at clean up. Meanwhile, I at least did get two hits (rare single up the middle and a double), and scored our only run (on a ground out) in the 9-1 whipping we took that day...I was stranded at second on my double... |
