Twins reliever Tyler Duffey never experienced anything like the vitriol he received from Yankees fans during the ALDS.
“Boston’s fun, they’re baseball fans,” Duffey told The Athletic after the Yankees swept the Twins in the ALDS. ”Yankees fans, they just hate people.”
Oh Boo Hoo, Duffey. Go home and enjoy the snow!

Weird that we are just hearing about this now if it happened. I don’t doubt it could happen, there are a lot of douche bags that go to Yankee Stadium every game. Just odd that he isn’t mentioning it until now after they get swept. |

Well, you would think if a fan somehow had access to a pitcher for the Twins and was able to throw beer on him, it would have made the news, especially with all the smartphones now...

Yea I really doubt there was beer poured on the Twins bullpen like security would allow that. Anything is possible. I was at a WS game where a Yankees fan ripped a hat off an opposing fan and lit it on fire and security just laughed. But I agree with Jason that it would have been tweeted out by someone by now if it had happened. |

The important thing is the Yanks are advancing to the ALCS while Duffey and the Twins have to eat 13 straight losses to us and a trip outta the playoffs!

Just imagine how poorly treated Duffey would feel if he was a Yankee and had to put up with Yankee-haters in 29 cities... no one hate the Twins. Why bother?...
