I was saddened by the injury and his pain in ending that way. I was also mourning the body of work of the 2019 season, which was not all the fault of his defense... I agree about the season. But he would have ended his career on a good note with competent defense in the inning. You try to field that ball that was hit to DJ 100 times, my friend. You’d be lucky to nab it once... |

He pitched better than Ottavino and Green today if he had competent defense he would have gotten out of the inning with no real damage |

Hate to sound like a downer here but this one seems like a loss. I guess only good thing Britton and Chapman weren't used. Hopefully Paxton can give some length tomorrow and they can pull it off.
