Good to see ya Joe! How's the little one doing? Going to buy him a Cole onesie? Things are going great...little one turned two months yesterday and he is wonderful. Had to go to Tokyo for work shortly after my paternity leave and now we are getting ready to close on our first home after 6 years of renting. Its really been a busy year especially the last few months! Cole will be on the list of shirts to get him...Judge first! Hope everyone here is doing well! Congrats on everything! Sounds like an exciting time.

I think El Paso is more dangerous although I think Chicago has the highest murder rate. Before the Wire, Homicide: Life on the Street also set in Baltimore was excellent despite many cast changes. One of my favorite lines from it, you have to have watched it to understand, was "There is no justice, there is just us." Homicide was my favorite show back in the nineties. Andre Braugher as Detective Pembleton was scary good. The Wire is in my top 5 of all time.

What an exciting time in your life. It's always nice to see good things happen for good people. I'm guessing the golf clubs haven't been getting as much work lately. I did actually get out once during my last week of paternity leave when the weather was still decent. My wife even encouraged me to do so! We have both of our families close by so we have lots of help with the baby and my wife is great about that kind of stuff. I suspect I wont be playing 30+ times in 2020 though (like I have the past few years)...but cant complain too much about that

My favorite little tidbit about that show is that Richard Belzer's character John Munch was the same character that moved over to Law and Order SVU, he makes a brief cameo as Munch in The Wire, and apparently has appeared in more different TV shows as that specific character than anyone in history.
