Sure, I go to bed and then miss all the fun.  I thought if the Yanks didn't announce this deal by today then they probably weren't going to get him and Cole was just waiting for a better offer from the team he really wanted to play for. That said, this was a must get for the Yanks and they finally have one of the best starting pitchers on their side. It's a huge contract for too many years but that will be a problem down the road, heck, maybe Cole opts out in five years and the Yanks let him walk? |

Time to celebrate for sure! YES!!!!!!!! I found out from sierchio who messaged me on facebook! Just nabbed the best pitcher out there! Cole/Severino/Paxton/Tanaka, thats one nasty rotation for sure!!!!! SO HYPPPPPEEEEDDDD!!!!!!!!!! LETS DO THIS!!!! WISH THE SEASON STARTED TOMORROW!!!!!! I also found out from Sierchio when he texted me last night. Quite odd. The one night I went to bed before eleven, so I didn’t know until 9:00 AM... even had my phone turned down from a meeting I was in earlier... |
