Imagine if Sanchez knew when a slider in the dirt was coming so he wouldn't swing and miss by feet... Like, if someone could notify him somehow...

Sanchez and Judge are the reason why I know the Yankees weren't sign stealing... if they were, they wouldn't look like fools on sliders in the dirt... Stanton too from what I remember

No love for Sanchez, in the best shape of his life. I would love to see Sanchez have an approach at the plate that drives more contact and a better average. That’s who I thought he was in the minors. He has tremendous power and will hit his share of HRs no matter what. If he leads the team in HRs he’s probably also hitting .230 and leading the team in strikeouts. Not useless but not the most valuable he could be as a hitter.

Stanton too from what I remember BP actually wrote an analysis of the Sox that came to a similar conclusion. The way they laid off of breaking balls in the dirt was statistically unusual and hard to explain. Unless they knew breaking pitches were coming.
