A CT scan taken of Aaron Judge's first right rib showed "slight improvement," the outfielder said Friday. The exam also showed that Judge's collapsed lung (which was previously undisclosed) has completely healed. He will undergo another scan in two weeks, but it's looking at this point like he will not need surgery to repair the stress fracture in his rib. Obviously, the season being delayed indefinitely affords him extra time to recover. Source: Bryan Hoch on Twitter Damn. Collapsed lungs are not just a little side note, especially in the case of a young, otherwise apparently healthy young man. When you think about it, card players would be at high risk, passing, shuffling, sneezing, coughing, releasing saliva while speaking over top of their cards. Very risky activity... |
