Hey fellow posters, I was thinking of changing the name of the forum to encourage new members. I thought it would be difficult to change the url of the site but I found out with just a ten dollar fee you can change it and have the old url forward to the new one for two weeks. I also have all our posters email addresses so I can send them the new link there as well.
So I would like your input on whether you think this is a good idea or not. I was thinking of a simple name like Bronx Bombers Board or Yankee Addicts or something like that.
If we go forward with the name change I can also start some advertising to get some new members.
So let me know if a name change is a good idea and post your new forum name suggestions!

I like Bronx Bombers too! The Bronx Bombers Board rolls off the tongue quite nicely I think. What do other posters think? Rizzuto? Inger? Noetsi? Dome? Anthonyd? Desousa? Renfield? Maize? Yankee89? NYborn? HawaiiYankee? We need everyone's input on this one! LOL

Billy Bob’s Bronx Bombers Bopped a Big one in the Bleachers? Okay. Maybe not.
Bronx Bleach Bums? Nah. Connotations of non-Yankee things past.
Bronx Bombers Board sounds about right...
Bronx Bombers Forum? I don’t know if kids know what board or forum means to be honest.
Inger is the best poster? No. They’ll figure that out soon enough on their own...😂
My only concern I guess is that I think most people are going to Google. New York Yankees rather than Bronx Bombers. Of course more will be Googling Bronx Bombers than heamyha. I’m not sure why...
Key words that would work best?

Hmm. It doesn’t roll of the tongue as nicely, but it may draw more fans. Could the Yankees be pricks enough to fight us on the name, which may be why Pat originally used Pinstripes in the name?
Anyway, I know you mentioned this a while back. Since we’re sort of dying, if you want growth, better do something...

Sounds good, Kay! I’m on board! How about, Condiment County and Other Yankee News....no Inger won’t like that. Note: I agree with CHI. My preference is to keep our regulars together, yet grow some new ones. Some of us have been posting with each other since the nineties. |

I do NOT like the ADDICTS name for obvious reasons...
I asked Tequila for her thoughts; here goes
