This may sound premature, but I’m ready for Miggy to take over first base and get regular at bats. I’m not into Voit. I’m ready to be talked out of it. We'll see. Voit had a great first half last year before his injury. So I'd give him a little bit more time. Miggy will be in soon to play some OF and 1st hopefully. We have Ford too. |

Everybody’s Tauchman at me! I have never been a devotee of Hicks. He’s a perfect bench guy to me, switch-hitter who can play all outfield positions, except the Yankees gave him that sizable contract. Frazier just is the odd man out until he can beat out someone defensively, which tonight....it’s early yet. |

Cabrera is a different player in that National’s uniform. They got him off the scrape heap in the middle of last season and he's been huge for them. |
