I thought the game had been postponed Tomorrow's game is postponed due to probable terrible weather. Really hoping the power (and therefore internet) doesn't go out here in Jersey. We have spotty cellular coverage too if the WiFi goes out so I may be going dark tomorrow.  |

They shouldn't have canceled today's game so early. Looks like the weather will be fine around game time today.

Aaron’s HR game streak ended, but why should he care? The tram won, and he can start a new one tomorrow... or whenever he can get locked in... I was kinda hoping he would go for Mattingly's record. But I'll take the win over that! Every player involved in that record has Yankee connections. The original holder of the 8-game record, Dale Long, hit his HR with the Pirates, but later played for the Yankees. Then you have Mattingly, who of course hit his HR for the Yankees. Finally you have Griffey, JR, who’s father spent time with the Yanks...pretty cool... |

My parents in the Philly suburbs got hit hard with rain this afternoon but they said the sun is out now. Play Ball!!! My old county In MD had some flooding on the evac and rescue levels, but it’s all receding and not so bad now. We lived on a high knob out there, but had bridges on 2/3 most common escape routes that usually would go underwater... and just because the third road didn’t have a bridge didn’t always make it passable between downed trees and muddy water rolling out of farmers fields... I don’t miss hurricanes... |
