You can tell that Cole is a perfectionist on the mound. Very similar to Tanaka.

Cole lost two strike outs in this inning, one from the umpire and one because Sanchez let a pitch go right through him.

You know, I love Cole already. This guy cares about the quality of each pitch and each outing. I would not want to be the next team he pitches against. He’s going to brood over this start, seething to get back on the mound in five days.

Yep, Kratz was with the Yankees once before in 2017. He had two hits in two at bats with two RBI. Kratz is forty years old, 6’4” and 250 pounds. Didn’t make it to the big leagues until age 30. He’s played with nine different major league teams. |
