He’s not on the 28 man roster right now. Why. As far as I can tell he is not hurt? He started slowly and they sent him to the alternate site. There's just too much depth on the team. You can make a case he wasn't given a fair shake. |

Well given how well he hit when he first got here and we have a DH opening they might as well give him a chance. If nothing else to approve his trade value.
I remember when he first came up. He seemed such a dominant hitter. Its a strange world.

He’s behind Urshela at third, and Wade can play all outfield and infield positions except catcher and is the fastest baserunner on the team. The Yankees are carrying extra pitchers due to the late starts of Paxton and Tanaka, as well as the injury to Kahnle and Chapman being quarantined. |

He will probably get another game in. Then be out for the rest of the season. Five weeks, the projected time I saw for him to be out - assuming no new injury- would bring him back in the middle of the last month in the season. I don't see why they would even bother bringing him back with other players playing much of the season given his high tendency to get hurt.
