I've lived in both bay areas, Tampa and SF and I agree with Rizz. Oakland has a bad rep, but it's easy to get to and from, the crowds are small (unless the Yanks or Red Sox are in town) but the fans are die hard and the food is good and relatively cheap compared to Yankee Stadium. The Trop is awful. They pipe in so much noise, it's painful. The crowds are the same as Oakland, empty unless the sox or yanks are playing. It is easy to get to from the stadium. Use to go to Giant's games too. Candlestick was terrible, but the newer stadium is great. It was so cold at Candlestick, when the shadows started moving across the stadium, all the fans would move too to stay in the sun. Yea, I heard Candlestick was terrible. But I've been to Oracle Park when it was called SBC Park and it was just beautiful with McCovey Cove and everything. I went to the first exhibition game at SBC Park. Amazing how much better and easier to get to than the Stick.
