A couple not so learned observations. I miss Judge and DJ but I really love watching this team. It seems like every night somebody different steps up to help us win. I really feel bad for Andujar. Unless he can DH I don't see him having a position on this team. He has a long way to go as a left fielder and he is not going to take innings away from Urshela. Someone mentioned moving Torres to second until DJ comes back. Maybe not a bad idea but he needs the reps at shortstop. Hopefully it won't cost us a game.

I think right now Andujar should get his at bats at DH not LF. Let Gardner sit, play Hicks, Tauchman, Frazier, with Andujar DHing. I wouldn't move Torres. It would just mess him up even more at this point for a short term anyway. Like you said he needs the reps at SS. I love watching this team too! The only thing that can stop us is the virus. |
