I can see why Boone hit Andujar for Tauchman. Ugh, not me. Andujar wouldn’t hit a burglar in his hotel room right now...

The way this game felt at the end was... like a player’s manager wanted to give somebody a chance to win the game, so he pulled the guys most likely to do that out of the game and put the least likely guys in the position to win it.
A single would have tied the game with the guy hitting the single likely going to second on a throw home... but ya’ gotta hit the ball first Bozos! ...

Yanks against the Rays: 1-5 Yanks against all other teams: 15-3 In a couple of the tie games, the Rays pen out pitched the Yanks. Sad but true.

I’m going to blame sierchio. When you reverse jinx you can’t announce the reverse jinx because that reverses the reverse. No more of that crap, Jay. Once it’s over and it worked it’s okay to announce it. Unless of course you originally announced it as a double reverse with a flea-flicker. Then, you’re just bragging...

a colossal mis-management of tonight's game by Boone. that said, are the Yankee hitters being too un-agressive in taking pitches? Against a team with a weak bullpen, it makes some strategic sense to run up the pitch count on the starter, but I see too many takes on the first pitch that is often down the middle and too many times hitters take 3 called strikes in key situations..looking at you, Ford, and a few others.

Good point, Ernesto! Maybe some more aggression in the batters box is called for. And Boone really screwed things up tonight. If I were Frazier I would be really pissed.
