His stratomatic card would be thrown away because you gagged... And why he heck does he bat above Andujar. I wish desperately someone would ask Boone that question.
Does ownership simply not care because they make the same amount of money regardless? My brother believes they have given up on this year.

There's some under performing players on this roster that should be glad Sanchez is on this team. He's taking all the heat for them.

Just a note: Ryan McBroom never really got a shot with the Yankees. For the Royals, he is hitting .260/.289/.507/.796. Not bad.

Unlike that Strat-O-Matic card, Sanchez has a history of having been better. Much better. Once his performance started to slip, the Yankees had to balance the cost of their investment vs. what they could get back in trade vs. the potential that Sanchez would return to form. At this point it looks very much like they miscalculated. People are not as disposable as SOM cards...

While Sanchez has been bad offensively a lot this year as Cone said last night with Higgy there was a lot of shake offs and non finishing off batters, because of it so Sanchez is probably still the better choice at this point.

I'd prefer old man Kratz to the both of them. As long as Kratz slips in a hit here and there, I’d take him every day. Eventually though, he’s going to become what he’s always been. A Mendoza line hitter with some pop on occasion. Higgy’s not a bad backup, either... I wish one of he or Kratz was a lefty hitter...

Hmm. Come to think of it, I just wish one of them was a hitter, period...

The Question that we might never have the Answer for:
If the Pitcher Pretended to throw a pitch at Sanchez, would he swing at it???

Only if he pretended to throw it down and away...

You left out the “t” in stunk cost. So what is his cost in SOM? Take cost of game, deduct estimate cost of board and other non-card parts, divide the remainder by the number of player cards. All players with equal value. This mean SOM is communist baseball...
