See... Clint had that high exit velo, smashed into a DP... Gio did the Russ approach of almost negative exit velocity for the single.. maybe Russ is on to something You just run an SARIMA model and know where the fielder is going to be when the ball gets there (or doesn't get there more precisely). Then calculate the energy that needs to be exerted when the pitched ball gets to the hitter considering its velocity and angle of entry.
Basic matrix algebra, physics and time series.
