I hate old pucker-face Ramirez... He's making a late run for MVP. Pucker face...

The Indians come back and win it 5-3 on a Ramirez walk off. Tigers and twins tied at 2 top 7. Magic number to control the division record tiebreaker is one over the twins and Indians at the moment. Yankees 15 losses 2 games left after this and twins and Indians 17 losses already so if the twins lose this they cannot get the division tiebreaker over the Yankees and the Yankees magic number would be down to one over the Indians for that tiebreaker.

Add lineup card delay to the list. What a weird season.

Max Kepler ties the game for the Twins in the 8th with a HR.
However, the baby blue throwback uniforms they are wearing look great.

Twins won so Yankees don't gain any ground. Magic number for the 4 seed is 6. The twins are also .5 games behind the White Sox now.
So it seems like the Yankees should be able to secure the tiebreaker against the Twins or Indians, however, the part up in the air is if they will wind up tied with the twins or Indians. If the White Sox fall to the fourth seed they have the tiebreaker over all these teams as they have 13 division losses and can max out at 15. Yankees if they win one of the next two can max out at 16 and twins/indians already both have 17.
The Yankees have 23 losses while the Indians have 24, but the Twins have only 22 so they are going to need to lose one of their last four for the tiebreaker to even come into effect.

With all that being said as long as the Yankees don't drop below the 5 seed I am fine with mostly whatever. The yankees are 53-21 against the Twins since 2010 27-10 at home and 26-11 at Target field so while you prefer at home its not a park they struggle in, however, not really ideal for the White Sox to fall to the Yankees as the Yankees play not that well in Chicago. Obviously wouldn't want the Yankees to fall back into those 7-8 seeds and wind up playing in Tampa or Oakland would rather face those teams on neutral sites.
