kaybli, I guess the only thing I can say about my health and Ruthie's is that we're getting older. You find out what's wrong and then you learn to deal with it. I've been warning her for a long time that she's become too sedentary, has put on way too much weight and eats WAY too much sugar. Now she has been classified as pre-diabetic, but this morning her sugar was higher than mine. If she doesn't start moving around more she doesn't have a good long term outlook...I'm working to keep myself moving around, so I can see the difference... At least she bought the book "The South Beach Diet" about a week ago. I even saw her crack it open yesterday. But in the mean time she's eating cookies...No one can save or fix anyone else, no matter how much they care. I worked long and hard on getting her to quit smoking seven years ago, and I thought that would be a great step in the right direction...I'm pretty bummed about it, but there's not much I can do. She has to want to do it... But yes. I feel kind of weird about the death of Gary's wife...And a bit helpless, too...Perhaps I should be callous enough to not care, or even to go to the lengths of saying he got what he deserved. Some people would, I guess. I just can't not care about people... Sorry to hear about Ruthie, Inger. With spring coming and where you live, it sounds like morning walks could help her out. Taking a morning walk in that great and fresh Colorado air would be a good way to start getting some excercise or at least being a little more active than she was before.

I wonder about Gary's dedication to his job. Do you think he'll take time away for the funeral or plan to multitask? As John Prine sang, "Some Humans Ain't Human." youtu.be/4Ho-EzrsE2U

No kidding. I was about 45 years old before I saw what it looked like soft. I cried for a week...

THIS is awesome inger!! I've always wanted to work for myself... I'm glad you have the opportunity to do so.... Great luck to you!! I saw the title of the thread and thought maybe you indulged in some Colorado goodness Hopefully it will be the goodness of Colorado Sunshine...Funny, ever since I agreed to do this the tariffs have hit the news, the introduction of DIY panels from Tesla into Home Depot. You just have to have faith that there's enough to go around. I know the percentage of rooftops is certainly less with than without, and that makes me feel good... Since my current employers are acting like turds, I'm going to start training this week and adding stops for my new product in with my regular work...
