That's one thing that will scare me in the playoffs. Sanchez's blocking ability. [facepalm]

If Bird was healthy all season, this team would be in first place right now. Most definitely. Hell, if the Red Sox didn't steal signs with the help of an Apple Watch we'd be in first place right now. [upset2] That game Chapman blew by giving up the HR to Devers could was a two game swing in the standings.

Yankees should definitely be in first place. [facepalm]

Complete choke job by Gray. I understand that he had some shaky defense by Sanchez but you can't give up the HR there.

It would suck to tie Boston... then use Gray in the Wild Card game... and use Tanaka against the Astros/Indians Yea, but it would awesome to tie Boston and beat them in the tiebreaker and skip the Wild Card game altogether! Tanaka most likely has to be used regardless. The schedule at best will allow the Game 4 starter to be the same as the game 1 on short rest. If the yankees are up 2-1 it makes no sense to waste gray in a game 4 on short rest.

Girardi is treating this game like it's spring training by bringing Holder into a one run game.

Girardi is treating this game like it's spring training by bringing Holder into a one run game. Now its getting out of hand With a stacked bullpen, Girardi has some explaining to do using Holder in that situation.

Now its getting out of hand With a stacked bullpen, Girardi has some explaining to do using Holder in that situation. Especially with Boston down big
