So the Yanks beat the Red Sox today, and Austin Romine went 2 for 3 again. He's only hitting .667 for the spring, with an OPS of 1.838. Do you think he's trying to beat out Higashioka? Higgy is batting .300 with an OPS in the 800's...

The derby was fun to watch last year with Judge, Sanchez and Stanton, but we are going to see this all season long, so I don't care if all three of these guys skip it. |

Now that the Astros have taken over first place in the Grape Fruit League, it's become obvious that the Yankees can't get past them again this season. It's that little gnome second baseman, Altuve. What is it about teams with little gnome second basemen that get into rivalries with the Yankees? Is this sort of an old Billy Martin curse or something???
