Got to call it a night. At least i got to see the Yanks futility on tv. Back to watching the dots tomorrow. Not sure which is worse, but the results appear to be the same.

We had the bases loaded with LMH up. I think he should have tried to walk. Three had in a row I think at that point. I dunno what's going on with this team. It just looks like they are asleep.

Curry just said 18 of 37 AB were 3 pitches or less. Which is not good for a team that tries to walk.

Got to call it a night. At least i got to see the Yanks futility on tv. Back to watching the dots tomorrow. Not sure which is worse, but the results appear to be the same. I dunno. I chose to watch dots last year and it didn’t hurt me at all. Just 6 games ago I decided to pay up and get MLB.com activated. I’ve seen one Yankees broadcast, the rest road broadcasts, and a team that had to be gifted a win to go 1-5 since then. I was tempted to buy the product because they lowered the price this year (thanks, Covid!), my wife is away for a month, I thought the worst of the team’s early season play was over. Buyer’s remorse has come quickly...

I know I’ve certainly tagged on Torres a lot. I’ve called for him to be traded in the past, don’t trust him at SS. I think he is emphasizing power too much in his swing that has a lot to do with some very fortunate circumstances he had against Baltimore’s horrendous 2019 pitching staff. One thing I will give him credit for is that he normally hustles down the first base line. The fact that he didn’t here is more a symptom of the state of the team, but he needs to not allow that to dictate his actions. And he was wrong. He doesn’t to to give “a little more effort into running down the line. It needs to be a lot. Because the way things are going, once could be too much...
