Thanks for the updates Kaybli!!! No problem CHI! And Stanton misplays his third ball out there in LF!

Under normal conditions I think Stanton would've caught those balls. In a major league stadium there wouldn't be the added difficulty of the sun like that... In my opinion at least. I never played in a stadium.. period lol. I can't wait til the regular season... sigh...

Yanks are 9-2 on the spring. Carroll is 3-0. Stanton's double was his fourth of the spring. Montgomery was erratic in his 3+ innings, but allowed only one run on two hits to go with 4 Ks and 4 BBs. It's spring...what does it all mean? Not much yet, but we start the middle 11 of our 33 ST games tomorrow, so it starts to mean a bit more. Shouldn't be long before teams start to cut pitchers. Soon after, they'll start to cut catchers. Then, those final 11 games get REAL serious as the decisions must be made...
Soon we'll have REAL baseball with REAL meaning to it! I still haven't seen a single play yet this season. I'd like to, but it's not worth going out of my way for yet...

Sun and sky were tough but Giancarlo played LF like a DH that day. Based on what I have seen from him before that's atypical.

Could be he was working on that and that's the reason for the erratic control???

That's also why we can't get too excited about our youngsters off to hot starts with the bats. They're batting against pitchers who will never see MLB time, and also against pitchers that are "working on something"...It's nice to see and read about, but it's way to early to get caught up in the excitement...When the bell rings, the punches are real. So are the pitches and the swings...

Gray pitching. Hasn't allowed a run yet in Spring Training. We could use a big year from him. I think Gray needs to trust his stuff more and stop nibbling.
