If the "ghost runner" is to shorten extra inning games, it's doing a piss poor job... Even if it worked , it's still (redacted) With both teams receiving the same “advantage”, well. I don’t know. I gues it is keeping us from the tedium of 17 inning games...but, dang... there are some long innings... It was funny though to see the Nats adding an extra infielder, yet they had a pitcher in the game that couldn’t throw a strike... and left him in. They coulda just had Jody Mercer pitch... It seems like everything else, they can't just leave well enough alone.. trying to improve something that isn't broken... and making it worse to top it all off |

in all fairness, he used to get walked in many of those situations... Now he strikes out...I don’t know where the old Aaron Judge went to, but this one is pretty mild... about the time you think he’s done, he hits a couple homers, then he goes back in his cave...or in the IL... |

Then we would've been up 2-0 lol I’m very thankful that we won’t be playing to avoid the sweep tomorrow after that debacle. I was just thinking a couple of days ago that Torres had settled in a bit since the start of the season, but his boos-boos seem to be coming back to the forefront again. I’m hoping that Hicks foibles in the game the other day were weather-related. If not, I’m hoping we don’t wind up looking at Greg Allen instead of Florial in CF.. |
